Plus, the promise of a groundbreaking epilogue to Scott Lodbell and Brett Booth’s multiverse-hopping Fast Forward series that saw Wally West take on the power of Doctor Manhattan when he sat on the Metron’s Mobius Chair at the end of the series.   A must-have issue for any longtime DC Comics’ fan. and coming in an array of covers to chose from too.

From writers Brian Buccellato, Geoff Johns, Scott Lobdell, Francis Manapul, Joshua Williamson, Marv Wolfman, art by Brett Booth, Dale Eaglesham, Mitch Gerads, Scott Kolins, Francis Manapul, David Marquez, Mike McKone, Howard Porter, Khary Randolph, Riley Rossmo, Rafa Sandoval, Stephen Segovia, Evan Shaner and colored by Hi-Fi, Michael Atiyeh, Luis Guerrero.

Beginning: “The Flash Age”! The story we’ve been building toward since issue #50 comes to a head! While a supercharged Speed Force wreaks havoc on Barry Allen’s life, a new threat appears on the horizon in the form of the deadly Paradox. Destined to destroy the Flash’s legacy, Paradox sends his herald, Godspeed, to trap the Flash family! Plus, in this special anniversary issue: tales from across the generations of super-speedsters by an all-star lineup of writers and artists!

Here’s a preview of this milestone issue by one of my favourite DC Comics artists, Francis Manapul. as we learn how Barry Allen can use the Speed Force to see into alternative timelines. Which is a rather handy power to have.
