Marvel Reveals Details Of Empyre, The Next Big Event In Teaser Trailer

Spinning out of last week’s Incoming #1 comes Empyre, the next big event to shake the Marvel Universe to its core. Beginning in April 2020 from writers Al Ewing and Dan Slott and artist Valerio Schiti, the comic follows the Kree and the Skrull as they’ve united under a new Emperor with their sites set on Earth. A massive war fleet is approaching the planet and the Avengers and Fantastic Four must team up to save the day…but will it be enough? Marvel released a teaser trailer to promote Empyre ahead of its release.

</center Marvel is certainly pointing to the rafters with this one. Of course, they just finished up Annihilation Scourge, another big cosmic event (although that one seemed to have flown a bit under the radar), not to mention Guardians of the Galaxy and Silver Surfer: Black. There’s a lot going on in the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe. We’ll see how Empyre unfolds in April 2020.
