Marvel Comics continues to roll out the red carpet for the next big X-Men event kicking off next month. The anticipation continues to build to House of X and Powers of X. We’ve already seen a documentary series, variant covers, and special retailer promotions. Now Marvel has released a new trailer showcasing some awesome interior artwork from Pepe Larraz and R.B. Silva, with colors by Marte Garcia along with commentary from Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, Senior Editor Jordan D. White, and writer Jonathan Hickman.
House of X and Powers of X are two stories that act as one story. They absolutely are separate, but by the end they collide together and coming out of that is the new paradigm for the X-Men universe.
What I think is most interesting about this trailer is that I have been pronouncing Powers of X wrong all this time. The X is a Roman numeral, so it’s Powers of Ten. I’m very curious as to what that means overall.

House of X and Powers of X promise to revolutionize everything you know about mutants, going all the way back to the beginning and looking at all of the major events up until this point. The two series will be alternate weeks beginning with House of X on July 24th, 2019.
