After starring in a couple series of his own and appearing in Savage Avengers, Conan the Barbarian is joining the star-studded Marvel Comics #1000 this August. It’s already a pretty crowded book with 80 pages featuring 80 different creative teams so it’s a wonder Conan was able to find a spot. The comic covers every bit of the Marvel Universe in one gigantic story. Conan is a welcome addition, made in commemoration of the important role he’s played in Marvel Comics‘ history.
The new Conan tale comes from Ralph Macchio and Marco Checchetto.
Jay Zetterberg of Cabinet Entertainment says:
If Crom had shown any interest in human matters, he would surely be as excited as we are to see Conan included in Marvel Comics #1000.
Marvel Comics #1000 is set for release on August 28th, 2019.
