Black Clover’s best character–the uncrowned, undefeated lioness Mereoleona Vermillion–has been confirmed as DLC for Bandai-Namco’s team combat game, Black Clover: Quartet Knights. The character comes as a part of the “Royal Magic Knight Set: Red” DLC, and she comes with a set of abilities based off her powers in the manga/anime. She has the generic Fire Magic, Assault of the Abandoned Flame, an Area of Effect spell which hits surrounding enemies. She also has two-step reinforcement, which can increase the strength of the flame spells she has in both arms when specific conditions are met. Lastly, she has her Mana Zone, which can boost her physical strength and even recover health if she maintains it for a long enough period of time.
The DLC also comes with a special “Magic Emperor” costume for Asta, designed specially by Black Clover author Yuki Tabata. This is the fourth DLC pack for the game, and is the result of a fan vote, with the other options being William, Fuegoleon, Nozelle, Finral, Rill, Grey, Sally, Jack the Ripper, and Ladros.
Black Clover: Quartet Knights is available for PlayStation 4 and PC now, and this DLC is available as of April 26th.
