Opening up on the eve of his death, Xavier Fauthoux’s James Brown graphic novel biography, James Brown Black And Proud, is released this week by IDW and recounts the Godfather of Soul’s life from his very poor beginnings in Barnwell, South Carolina to his soaring success and his later years and death on Christmas Day 2006.
